From a young age, i’ve had a real love for travel and the joy and excitement it brings. I’ve always loved planning holidays, exploring beautiful places and capturing the moments from these trips that make travel feel so magical ✨ Whether it’s a stunning sunset in Mykonos, seeing the Eiffel tower shimmering at night for the first time or sitting back and watching the sparkle of the sea from your balcony on a cruise ship.
I started this blog because I wanted a space to share my personal love and experiences of travel and the amazing memories I have taken from these journeys. I also really love to take photos and have included photos from my personal travels.
Travel has always been a really big part of my life (including my job as I have been a travel consultant for over 20 years), and through this blog, I want to share stories, tips, and a little bit of travel inspiration that willl hopefully brighten your day and spark your own wanderlust.
Travel isn’t just about the places we visit it’s also about the feelings, growth and enrichment that visiting these destinations can bring to our life - the magic of seeing beautiful places, the wonder and awe (and many times gratitude) of experiencing new cultures and the excitement of stepping out of our comfort zones and pushing ourselves to experience something completely new.
The joy of travel often starts well before the trip begins. I really love the excitement of choosing my next destination and always having something exciting to look forward to in life. The planning of the trip (reading articles and books, watching vlogs and deciding on what to see and what to do) is almost as exciting as the actual travel itself.
Apart from the beauty and excitement of travel, it also has the power to inspire our minds, spark creativity, and even transform the way we see ourselves and our place in the world. Travel is one of the most powerful ways I know to help us grow, expand our minds and to recharge our lives. It enables us to return back to everyday life with renewed energy and a stronger understanding of what truly matters in life.
